Privacy Policy
Created November 2, 2026
This page explains what information this site collects about readers, why we collect it, and what we never collect. Short version: we do not want your personal data, and your OCSEAS account data never touches this site.
What we collect
Reading this site creates basic technical logs: which pages were opened, browser and device type, and time of visit. Every website keeps logs like these. We use them to see which OCSEAS topics people struggle with, so the guides on login problems, requirements and region assignments stay useful.
If you post in a discussion or send a report here, we receive the text you write and the display name you choose. Think before posting. Do not include your password, ID numbers, birth certificate details, or document scans. None of that is needed to describe a login problem.
Your OCSEAS data stays on OCSEAS
Your account, profile, uploaded documents and application status live on ocseas.csc.gov.ph, run by the Civil Service Commission. This guide never sees them, never asks for them, and has no way to look them up. When you follow a link from here to the official portal, that portal's own privacy policy covers what happens next, including the documents you upload for evaluation.
Cookies
This site may use cookies to remember simple settings and count visits. Cookies are small files your browser stores. You can block or clear them in your browser settings whenever you like. Reading the guides works fine either way.
How information is used
Visit logs and discussion reports are used to fix errors, refresh outdated steps, and decide which guides need work. We do not sell personal information, we do not build reader profiles, and we do not pass your details to advertisers or data brokers. We also do not send anything to the CSC about you. Your dealings with the CSC happen directly between you and the CSC.
Your choices
You can read everything here without an account and without handing over personal details. If you posted in a discussion and want it removed, raise it through the discussions on this site and we will act on it. Never send us a scan of your ID to prove a post is yours. A description of the post is enough.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
